#Research companies and markets with TradeClaw

TradeClaw helps you investigate companies, buyers, markets, competitors, and trade questions in a conversation where conclusions can be reviewed against their supporting sources.

#Who this is for

This guide is for sales, export, market-research, procurement, and management users who need evidence before choosing a buyer, entering a market, comparing competitors, or making another trade decision.

#Start a focused research session

  1. Open TradeClaw.
  2. Start a new session for one research objective.
  3. State the target market, company or buyer type, product, time range, and decision you need to make.
  4. Ask for the evidence or source types that matter to the decision.
  5. Send the request and wait for the answer to finish before evaluating it.

For example, replace “How is the German market?” with “We plan to sell this product to mid-sized German industrial distributors. Compare demand signals, common purchase requirements, and three buyer segments, and support the findings with current sources.”

#Review the answer and its evidence

Read the answer in this order:

  1. Confirm that it answers the business decision you described.
  2. Separate sourced facts from analysis or inference.
  3. Open the important evidence links.
  4. Check publication date, geography, company identity, units, definitions, and original context.
  5. Note missing evidence, conflicting sources, or claims that remain uncertain.

Source links make a result reviewable; they do not guarantee that every public source is current, complete, or suitable for your decision.

#Continue with follow-up questions

Keep the same session when the new question depends on the existing answer. Useful follow-ups can:

  • Narrow the country, buyer segment, product, or time range.
  • Compare two companies, markets, or evidence sources.
  • Ask TradeClaw to explain how a source supports a conclusion.
  • Request a clearer separation between facts, assumptions, and unknowns.
  • Turn research into a decision summary or next research questions.

Start a new session when the objective changes. This keeps the history, title, and shared context understandable.

#Organize useful research

The conversation area supports recent sessions, session titles, pinning, favorites, and session links. Use them differently:

  • Rename a session so the research objective is recognizable later.
  • Pin active or repeatedly used sessions near the top.
  • Add an individual useful result to favorites when you need the finding rather than the whole conversation.
  • Delete a session only when its research history is no longer required.

On smaller screens, recent sessions are available from the session panel.

#Share a session safely

Use Share session when another person needs to read the complete research context. Open the resulting link yourself before sending it and check what a recipient can see.

Anyone with the public share link can open the session. Remove unnecessary customer names, contact details, internal prices, private files, credentials, or other confidential information before sharing. The current interface has no separate stop-sharing action; deleting the session revokes access but permanently removes the conversation.

#Use findings responsibly

Do not treat TradeClaw output as final legal, compliance, financial, or contractual advice. For important commercial decisions, confirm critical facts with current primary sources and the responsible professional.

Research actions can consume credits according to the resources used. Review the usage information available to your account when cost matters to the task.
