#Understand TradeClaw usage, credits, and limits

TradeClaw shows the selected model, credits charged, and elapsed time so you can review research usage alongside the quality and limits of the result.

#Who this is for

Use this guide when you need to choose a model, understand a completed run’s cost, or review TradeClaw usage for a conversation.

#Choose a model before sending

The composer defaults to Auto, which uses the platform’s current default TradeClaw model. The selector may show other models that are currently active and available. Choose before sending the request; the selected model is also visible in the session panel.

Model availability and pricing can change, so rely on the choices and price information currently shown in your account.

#Review one completed answer

After a successful answer, the message metadata can show:

  • Credits Used: credits charged for that completed response.
  • Elapsed: processing time for the response.

These values describe usage, not research quality or factual confidence.

#View conversation records

Open TradeClaw Records from the platform’s execution or billing records area. The list groups charges by conversation and shows the conversation title, total cost, user, and submission time. Open View Details to see individual entries with time, model, and credits charged.

Access follows the current user, team, and role. Team or platform columns may appear only to authorized roles.

#Work within research limits

TradeClaw depends on the request, available sources, model, and accessible tools. It can return incomplete, conflicting, outdated, or inferred information. Stop and narrow an overly broad task, then verify important claims with current primary sources.

#FAQ

#Where can I see the cost of a TradeClaw answer?

After a completed answer, its message metadata shows Credits Used and elapsed time. TradeClaw Records groups charges by conversation.

#What does Auto model mean?

Auto uses the platform’s current default TradeClaw model. Other selectable models appear only when they are active, visible, and available.

#Does a longer or more expensive run guarantee a correct answer?

No. Usage reflects consumed resources, not factual correctness. Review the answer and verify important evidence independently.
