#Manage development accounts in TradePilot
Development accounts is the complete TradePilot buyer pool where you can find, review, prioritize, and continue any potential customer.
#Who this is for
Use this guide when you need to locate a specific buyer, inspect the full account pool, or manage records outside the current Today queue.
#Open Development accounts
Open Development accounts. Search by known buyer details, then narrow the pool by development status, priority, source, or import batch when those filters apply.
The list helps you compare the buyer name, country, source coverage, development state, priority, next action, and recent activity before opening a record.
#Understand account status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending cleaning | Imported source data is waiting for preparation or review |
| Needs review | The source-backed profile or a possible duplicate needs a decision |
| Ready to contact | The confirmed buyer can begin development |
| In development | Outreach, reply handling, or follow-up is active |
| Waiting for reply | A completed outreach touch is waiting for the buyer’s response |
| Ready for CRM | A real customer signal has been confirmed for handoff |
| Transferred to CRM | The buyer is linked to ongoing CRM records |
| Not a fit | The account has left the active development queue |
Status describes the workflow position. Priority describes which active account should receive attention first.
#Review and continue an account
- Find the buyer in Development accounts.
- Check its status, priority, source records, and pending duplicate indicator.
- Review uncertain duplicates before editing or contacting the account.
- Open the buyer workspace to see evidence, messages, tasks, and timeline together.
- Complete the current next action rather than manually skipping required review.
Changing priority does not confirm a profile, qualify a buyer, or transfer it to CRM.
#Protect source evidence
Treat the development account as the working view of one potential buyer, not as permission to overwrite its source history. Keep unknown values unknown, preserve imported records, and record corrections through the buyer review flow.
When two records may represent the same buyer, compare stable identifiers such as domain, email, phone, and source references. Confirm a merge only when the evidence supports it.
#FAQ
#Is a development account already a CRM customer?
No. It is a potential buyer being reviewed or developed in TradePilot. It becomes linked to CRM only after qualification and transfer.
#Why are similar buyers kept separate?
Name similarity alone is not enough to merge records safely. TradePilot keeps uncertain matches separate until a user reviews the evidence.
#Can I find buyers that no longer appear in Today?
Yes. Development accounts is the complete pool and is the right place to find transferred, paused, stopped, or not-a-fit records when those statuses are included by the current filters.
