#Prepare your company and product data
Prepare TradeGo AI by adding your company identity in Company Workspace, your sellable products in Product Assets, and approved answers to recurring objections in Sales Playbooks.
#Who this is for
This guide is for team members responsible for company facts, product information, quotations, sales messaging, or the accuracy of AI-assisted customer work.
#Prepare your source material
Collect information your team can verify before entering it:
- Legal company name, brand name, country or region, website, address, and primary contact details.
- Product SKU or model number, name, categories, selling points, specifications, and target use cases.
- Trade information such as HS code, MOQ, reference price range, lead time, packing, and logistics details when known.
- Clean product images, certificates, specification sheets, price references, or other supporting documents.
- Approved answers to frequent customer questions and objections.
Use current source files. Remove expired prices, outdated certificates, and claims your team can no longer support.
#Create the Company Workspace
- Open Company Workspace.
- Select Create.
- Enter the full company name. Add the brand or short name, industry, business type, and logo when available.
- Complete the relevant contact, registration, address, trade, and supporting-information fields.
- Save the record and reopen it to confirm the values and uploaded files.
Company Workspace belongs to the current team. Enter the company that will appear in that team’s customer-facing work.
#Add Product Assets
- Open Product Assets.
- Select Create.
- Enter a unique SKU or model number for the current team and the product name.
- Add categories, selling points, a detailed description, target audience, and use cases.
- Add verified specifications and trade details such as HS code, MOQ, price range, lead time, logistics, packing, and PI description where applicable.
- Upload clear product images and current supporting documents.
- Save the product and check that the most important commercial facts are correct.
Do not use one product record for several materially different models when their specifications, price basis, packing, or compliance documents differ.
#Add approved Sales Playbooks
- Open Sales Playbooks.
- Select Create.
- Choose a category such as pricing, shipping, product quality, customization, company background, or another relevant topic.
- Enter the customer question or objection.
- Enter the approved response your team is prepared to use.
- Add trigger keywords and keep the playbook active only while the answer remains valid.
Review responses whenever prices, delivery policies, certifications, warranty terms, or company claims change.
#Check data before using AI products
Before using reusable data in TradePilot, email tools, PI or quotation work, catalogs, product images, contract review, or content tools, check:
- The current team owns the correct company and product records.
- Required product identity fields are complete.
- Prices, quantities, dates, and trade terms have not expired.
- Uploaded images and documents belong to the selected product.
- Sales answers match current commercial policy.
AI output can repeat incorrect source information consistently. Correct the source record first instead of fixing the same error in every generated result.
#FAQ
#What information is required to create a product asset?
A product asset requires an SKU or model number and a product name. Add selling points, specifications, trade details, images, and documents when they are available and accurate.
#Should I invent missing company or product information?
No. Leave information incomplete until you can verify it. Incorrect prices, specifications, certifications, and trade terms can make later customer-facing output unsafe to use.
#What belongs in Sales Playbooks?
Add customer questions or objections together with an approved response, category, and useful trigger keywords. Keep the answer aligned with your actual commercial policy.
